Beh, lei non è una persona abituata a ricevere qualcosa in dono, vero?

So che ha dovuto guadagnarsi tutto dalla vita, e che nessuno le ha mai dato una mano quando ne aveva bisogno.

Il suo carattere, timoroso ma forte, si è formato proprio in questo modo: superando una alla volta tutte le difficoltà che ha incontrato sul suo difficile cammino.

Oggi, però, è un giorno nuovo. E’ un giorno diverso.

Durante la mia esistenza è stato naturale da piccolo sviluppare la capacità di ascolto come comportamento naturale verso l'insegnamento dei grandi, che uno riteneva detentori del massimo grado del sapere dell'umanità..

Crescendo ho incominciato a comprendere i limiti dei gradi abbinando all'ascolto l'osservazione attenta del loro comportamento.

Queste discrepanze sono state utili per riflettere su come impostare la mia esistenza futura in modo da evitare le contraddizioni che man mano percepivo nel comportamento degli adulti.

Questa fase di acuta osservazione è stata fondamentale costituendo la linfa vitale per la successiva fase di riflessione ed elaborazione che poi mi hanno portato allo sviluppo di visioni originali che man mano maturano sempre di più col trascorrere del tempo.

During my existence it was natural as a child to develop the ability to listen as a natural behavior towards the teaching of adults, who one believed to be the holders of the highest degree of human knowledge. Growing up I began to understand the limits of degrees by combining listening with a careful observation of their behavior. These discrepancies were useful to reflect on how to set up my future existence in order to avoid the contradictions that I gradually perceived in the behavior of adults. This phase of acute observation was fundamental, constituting the lifeblood for the subsequent phase of reflection and elaboration which then led me to the development of original visions that gradually mature more and more with the passage of time.

A volte le scuse sono generate quando ci si trova nella situazione in cui uno gira a vuoto. Quando uno sviluppa visioni originali il problema principale diventa non saltare in aria come in un campo minato. Si vive nella condizione di muoversi con molta cautela e nel massimo grado di calma. Bisogna raggiungere il massimo grado di pazienza e perseveranza. Normalmente quando si prova uno stato di disagio per una infinita serie di motivi avviene una gamma di reazioni emotive che vanno dalla protesta verbale a quella fisica, dalla manifestazione di scusa a quella di aggressività. E' il modo comune per manifestare la nostra esistenza. Quando si sviluppano visioni originali fondamentalmente si ha la sensazione di aver ragione, per cui si cerca di evitare di essere coinvolti in reazioni sterili ma mirare costantemente verso il raggiungimento del risultato individuato come obiettivo finale. Da questo punto di vista potrebbe occorrere un'intera esistenza per riuscire a conseguire il risultato desiderato senza fallire. Comunque occorre sottolineare che questa strategia non è da pretendere da tutti.

Sometimes excuses are generated when you are in the situation where one is spinning around in circles. When one develops original visions the main problem becomes not to blow up like in a minefield. You live in the condition of moving with great caution and in the greatest degree of calm. It is necessary to reach the maximum degree of patience and perseverance. Normally when you feel a state of discomfort for an infinite series of reasons there is a range of emotional reactions ranging from verbal to physical protest, from the manifestation of apology to that of aggression. It is the common way to manifest our existence. When you develop original visions basically you have the feeling of being right, so you try to avoid being involved in sterile reactions but constantly aiming towards achieving the result identified as the final goal.

From this point of view it could take an entire existence to be able to achieve the desired result without failing. However, it should be emphasized that this strategy is not to be expected of everyone.

Mi ritengo non solo un amico di Giuseppe Cotellessa, ma un estimatore della sua persona in quanto tale. Conosco Peppe ( come lo chiamo affettuosamente) dal 1986, da quanto cioè sono stato assunto all'Enea. Dal mio modesto punto di vista ho potuto apprezzare la sua preparazione in quasi tutti i campi dello scibile umano e la sua straordinaria volontà di trasmettere alle persone, soprattutto studenti, il suo sapere e le sue conoscenze. Questa non è solo una mia impressione, ma è un qualcosa che viene condiviso da amici in comune che, come me, hanno avuto modo di constatare la sua preparazione. Nell' ambito lavorativo, giacché  abbiamo lavorato nella stessa unità, c'è stata una continua  collaborazione  e cooperazione che hanno poi portato l' inventore del brevetto....a pubblicare quello che potrebbero essere le interessanti ricadute  nel mondo scientifico. In Italia ci sono tanti cervelli in fuga che trovano rifugio nelle altre nazioni, questo perché non vengono apprezzati nel nostro paese. Allora, io dico a tutte quelle persone che possono, di spendersi per dare una possibilità a tutti  i meritevoli che, come Peppe, hanno speso una vita per la ricerca, in modo da dare al nostro bel paese il posto che merita.

I consider myself not only a friend of Giuseppe Cotellessa, but an admirer of his person as such. I have known Peppe (as I affectionately call him) since 1986, since I was hired at Enea. From my humble point of view, I was able to appreciate his preparation in almost all fields of human knowledge and his extraordinary desire to pass on his knowledge and knowledge to people, especially students. This is not just my impression, but it is something shared by mutual friends who, like me, have been able to see his preparation. In the working environment, since we worked in the same unit, there was a continuous collaboration and cooperation that then led the inventor of the patent .... to publish what could be the interesting repercussions in the scientific world. In Italy there are many brain drain that find refuge in other nations, this is because they are not appreciated in our country. So, I tell all those people who can, to spend themselves to give a chance to all the deserving ones who, like Peppe, have spent a lifetime for research, in order to give our beautiful country the place it deserves.
